The Braille Book Production Centre, founded in 1995, is a national project of Nigerwives Nigeria.
The Centre pioneered the computerized production of Braille textbooks in Nigeria.
It also provides a number of educational services to assist young blind people to become self-sufficient adults.
The Centre produces books in Braille for primary, secondary and tertiary levels, distributed all over Nigeria.
It also offers several other facilities, such as the brailing of examination questions and educational aids to teach mathematics.
The Centre will spend the Small World 2018 proceeds to produce 100 more Mathematics Kits for distribution to blind students throughout Nigeria
